Recognizing his potential, Jason's mother encouraged him to enroll in the Elkhart Area Career Center, where he acquired proficiency in AutoCAD and self-taught AutoLisp programming. A burning ambition to venture into the bustling realm of the big city and pioneer engineering innovations simmered within him. His aspirations were as grand as the challenges he encountered on his path.

Yet, fortified by unwavering determination and relentless perseverance, Jason triumphed over adversity. Absent a college education, he achieved a significant milestone by successfully passing both the Fundamentals of Engineering and the Professional Engineering exams, attaining his Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering. This achievement laid the cornerstone for Borum Engineering, an enduring testament to Jason's inquisitiveness, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
